Frequently asked questions

Does the find field support regex?

No. It searches for the exact phrase as ordinary text, so characters such as periods or brackets have no special meaning.

Can I remove a phrase completely?

Yes. Enter the phrase to find and leave the replacement empty.

Is the search case-sensitive?

Yes. For example, File and file are treated as different strings.

Does it replace just the first match?

No. All non-overlapping matches of the phrase are replaced in the result.
